What Volunteers Are Saying:

“I cannot think of a more fulfilling way to spend my retirement years than volunteering as a GAL and working with the GAL staff.”- Greensboro GAL Beverly Grier

“In the past three years I have worked with 14 children and watched them proceed from seemingly hopeless situations toward normal, healthy lives.  I certainly did not bring these changes about on my own, but I did contribute to the outcomes by advocating for each child’s best interests.  I have only one regret – that I didn’t begin this journey many years ago.”- High Point GAL Sally Beck
